Crystal Classics is always interested in buying mineral collections, rare species and fine single specimens from worldwide locations. We are also interested in antique books on mineralogy or mining, and also in quality fossil and gemstone collections.

Crystal Classics has been involved in the purchase and dispersal of over 30 mineral collections in the last 10 years, including Rolf Wein (Germany), Marty Zinn (USA), Ernie Sclichter (USA), Uli Barman (South Africa), Richard Williams (UK) and many others. The collections range in size from hundreds of specimens to thousands of items. These items are resold to private collectors or museum collections around the world.

Crystal Classics works in partnership with Kristalle, of USA, to form a very efficient buying and selling distribution network. We are able to buy fine minerals and sell on very small margins for the right specimens. 

If you are interested in selling your collection, the process is very simple and efficient without being intrusive on your time:

1. We will discuss via email or telephone to evaluate the different aspects of the collection or specimens that you would like to sell.

2. We will then ask to see several photos of items from the collection to confirm that we are interested in purchasing the collection. At this point, if both parties are happy to continue the sale we will then arrange to come and view the entire collection at your convenience.

3. After viewing, Crystal Classics will be able to provide you with a full valuation of your collection, and offer you a very good price. We are able to ‘pay up front’ on very short notice for the purchase of fine minerals.

4. At the completion of a sales agreement we have the resources to quickly and efficiently pack and remove the collection no matter what the size anywhere in the world.
