An attractive Calcite miniature from Tsumeb featuring intergrown flattened Calcite rhombohedral crystals. The Calcite is translucent and colourless (as seen on the side of the specimen) with an opaque satiny pale yellow-brown coating, and then an overgrowth of lustrous reddish brown Hematite included Calcite, partially capping the original crystals. An interesting variation of Calcite. Minor chipping and contacts around the edge of the specimen, but very attractive form.Size: 4.7 x 3 x 2 cm (Small Cabinet)
