Latest updates from East Coker and the Crystal Classics Team

21 June 2013

We were all very sad to see Robin, our longest standing mineralogist leaving us this week for maternity leave. Robin is expecting twins in the next few weeks and will be having some extended time away to deal with double nappies and hungry mouths to feed.

Robin has been with us for nearly 8 years and has helped make the companies the success they are today, she is the brains behind the websites and we will miss her articles and friendly smile.

Our heartfelt congratulations go to Robin and her husband Chris from all the Crystal Classics and Kristalle teams here in East Coker and Laguna Beach.

On Robin's leaving day we had a lovely farewell lunch and were very happy to have Ed Loye one of our friends from many years of past employment join us at the George pub in West Coker.

We are very happy to welcome Alison Hyde our newest member of staff to the Crystal Classics team and she will be answering all the enquiry emails while Robin is away. Please contact ali@crystalclassics.co.uk if you have any questions.

We are also sad to see the closure of the East Coker tearooms just in front of our offices. After 6 years of trading they are closing because Mencap has just been sold. Robin had to have one last slice of her favourite lemon Roulade before she left…..

We are sad to see them go, as will be all those that are regular visitors to our showrooms.

Summer has arrived in East Coker and the roses are in full bloom around our offices which are open daily from 9AM to 5PM. We are two hours from London by train or car and in our well stocked showrooms you will find the best selection of minerals in Europe.
