Open Day Bumper Update 3rd June 2017

This Saturday we have pulled out all the stops to bring you a bumper update of fifty new specimens to celebrate our OPEN DAY including fine classics from the South West and North of England:

  • Three classic Liroconite with Clinoclase specimens, two from Wheal Gorland and one from Wheal Unity, Cornwall.
  • A cracking specimen of Plumbogummite with Pyromorphite from Roughton Gill, Cumbria.
  • A now well-regarded specimen of Scorodite from Hemerdon Mine, Devon.  
  • A fine Baryte with Calcite from Egremont, Cumbria.
  • Classic Bournonite (cogwheel-ore) twinned crystal specimen from Herodsfoot Mine, Cornwall.
  • Gem clear colourless Calcite heart twin from Egremont, Cumbria.
  • Characteristic crystal specimen of Barytocalcite from Nentsberry Mine, Cumbria.
  • Very rich crystal specimen of Olivenite from Wheal Gorland, Cornwall.
  • Well formed crystals of Linarite from Roughton Gill, Cumbria.
  • A very rare specimen of Matlockite from the type locality Bage Mine, Derbyshire.
