New Specimen Update 19 October 2017

Hello Everyone,

This week's new specimen update is an excellent selection of minerals from several classic Worldwide locations including:

  •  A beautiful group of intergrown, arborescent branches of crystallized Native Copper from Ogonja in the Windhoek District of Namibia.  
  •  Magnificent Chalcopyrite crystals with Quartz from St. Agnes in Cornwall, England.
  •  An excellent specimen of Bayldonite from its type locality at Penberthy Croft mine, St. Hilary in Cornwall, England.
  •  A very fine specimen of Hydroxyl-Herderite from Barra do Salinas, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
  •  A group of interlocking curved ribs of Hemimorphite from the Santa Eulalia District of Chihuahua, Mexico.
  •  Stunning electric blue Boulder Opal from Quilpie in southern Queensland, Australia.

With only one week remaining before the Munich Show, the team has had a manic two weeks digging out lots of fantastic and historic specimens from every nook and cranny of the East Coker HQ!  The lorry is now loaded and en route with 24 showcases ready to be loaded with exciting specimens from newly acquired collections and some of our specimen mining recovery operations.  Munich will also see the launch of our stunning new Fluorites from the Diana Maria mine in Weardale, Northern England.  These exhibit sublime colour zoning, exciting colour zoning and natural daylight fluorescence of the most intense violet-blue!  For all this and more, we look forward to welcoming you to our Booth A6.p19
