Almandine crystals from the  classic sought after Cornish location of Chycornish, Botallack, St. Just. The specimen displays the very characteristic lustrous deep red-brown well formed Almandine crystal, measuring to 7mm with areas of light root-beer colour. Crystals of the Garnet are scattered and aggregated in a dense dark black-green Chlorite/Tourmaline Hornfels. A fine and uncommon specimen from Cornwall.
