A specimen showing particularly well developed crystals of Andradite Garnet for the Belstone Consols Mine. The Andradite crystals measure to 1cm richly inter grown to form a dome like specimen. Secondary phase of yellow translucent Andradite crystals can been grown around the larger crystal. The main body colour of the larger Andradite crystals is a translucent yellowish green. A small area of silvery Arsenopyrite is apparent at the base of the specimen. The site is now closed to collectors.
