A fine Specimen of lustrous Andradite Garnet crystals from a seldom seen European location in Romania, from the Skarn deposits near Ocna De Fier. Crystals of Andradite measure to 1.6cm displaying classic dodecahedral faces, with tan-yellow brown colouration. Associated with grey-green 'Hedenbergite' and a later deposition of white Calcite. On the underside of the specimen is a large area of metallic grey-black Magnetite. A rich Andradite specimen from the area.
