Crystals of Andradite measure to 1.3cm with well-formed octahedron - trapezohedron faces, faintly striated. With great lustre and deep red-brown colour on a sub-metallic grey-black Mn oxide matrix. A well-developed Andradite Garnet crystal specimen from the mine.
