A fantastic specimen of Anglesite from the famous Monteponi Mine, Sardinia. The Anglesite displays sharp classic tapering tabular crystal habit to 5.5cm. The crystals of Anglesite have a high luster with two tone colouration. The central area of the crystals have metallic grey colouration caused by Galena inclusions; which in turn is contrasted by a translucent white band. The specimen is composed of two main crystals formed at an angle to each other, with many inter-grown small crystals. A fine small cabinet Anglesite specimen.
