Fine tabular crystals of Apophyllite adorn the display face of the specimen from Talnakh, Taimyr Peninsula, Russia. Crystals of lustrous tinted pink Apophyllite crystals measure to 0.9cm on edge, and are gemmy to translucent. The well formed Apophyllite has formed over a druse of micro-Apophyllite colourless-white crystals. On the underside of the specimen is a part formed composite crystal of brassy yellow Pyrite. A specimen from the Michael Cooper collection.
