The pick of the update, this is the only specimen which has the blue Beryl variety Aquamarine. It is a stunning display with an elongate 4.8cm Aquamarine jauntily positioned in front of a large well proportioned Schorl Tourmaline, accompanied by neon green Fluorites. All rest on a creamy Feldspar with a naturally corroded honeycombed texture, which beautifully highlights the other minerals. The Aqua is gemmy for the top centimetre, becoming translucent down the length, with rich mid blue colour that Namibian Aquas are famous for. The Schorl is black and lustrous, measuring 4.4 cm long by 3.3 cm wide. It has a well formed complex termination at the top, with interesting stepped growth features down the front and rear prism faces, and grades into complex parallel multiple terminations at the other end. The gemmy Fluorites have neon green centres with hints of purple at the surface, and have good lustre. They are cubic with small undulating surface features, the largest measuring 2cm across. A beautiful display specimen, with aesthetic proportions.
