A large cabinet specimen of Aragonite from the Touissit mining area in Morocco. The large crested specimen of Aragonite is composed of a myriad of closely clustered acicular crystals, giving a sparkling lustre to the specimen, and with a pleasant translucent light turquoise colour. The Aragonite has formed on a thin matrix of black-brown Goethite Gossan intermixed with crystals of translucent white Cerussite, and stands to display to advantage.
