An excellent crystal specimen of Aragonite from the Bulleycleave Quarry, Devon, England, which has been closed for many years. The specimen we have from this location displays well formed sub-parallel divergent groups of long tapering prismatic crystals, measuring to 5.5cm tall. Aragonite crystals are lustrous and translucent to gemmy at the terminations, with inclusions of light brown Fe-oxides. The Aragonite crystals having developed on a light brown druse of Dolomite and Fe-oxides. A now uncommon specimen of Aragonite from the location.
