Excellent light blue crystals of Aragonite formed in a bow-tie group, from the San Giovanni Mine, Sardinia, Italy. The almost Flos Ferri formation of blue Aragonite sits aesthetically at the apex of an elongated crystal covered dome of Aragonite. A central core matrix of dark grey Limestone can be seen on the underside of the specimen. The matrix is surrounded by concentric banding of pastel green and white Aragonite. A great specimen from Sardinia.
