A rare, large and equant hexagonal crystal of Aragonite with associated Native Sulphur from this famous Sicilian Sulphur mining locality. Close up the prism faces of this large crystal are made up of aggregates of small prismatic crystals of Aragonite. The display side is undamaged, however the Sulphur on the backside of the specimen is subhedral in respect to crystallisation but displays a good colour contrast against the opaque white of the Aragonite. Unusual, and rare, there are very few examples like this out there!
