Arsenopyrite

ID: CC4816

Sharply formed crystals of Arsenopyrite from the Virtuous Lady Mine, Devon. The mine produced some of the most well developed crystals of Arsenopyrite in the west country. The specimen we have from the Glyn Cunnick collection displays metallic silver-grey wedge habit crystals measuring to 1cm on edge. Associated with radial clusters of white Quartz, on a green Chloritic matrix with Chalcopyrite. A fine Arseonpyrite from the mine known for the Siderite Lady's Slippers and Box's.
