A stout crystal of Atacamite from the Wallaroo Mine, Kadina, Australia a large 19th century mine worked mostly by Cousin Jacks (Cornish immigrants), the area once became known as Australia's little Cornwall. The specimen we have from the mine has a well formed crystal of Atacamite measuring to 3.9cm tall, having lustrous faces and a deep green colour. The main display crystal of Atacamite stands vertically outward from an aggregate of further Atacamite, on a light coloured matrix. An excellent specimen from the mine.
