Atacamite

ID: CC2798

A superb miniature featuring well terminated Atacamite crystals, one of the nicest Atacamite specimens we have had in years. The crystals are well defined, prismatic with well formed terminations and good lustre. They are dark green with flashes of translucent emerald green. Individual crystals measure to 2cm length. This specimen was most likely found in the late 1800s, and this location (together with Wallaroo) has produced some of the world's finest Atacamites.
