A superb stellate burst of bladed/tabular Azurite crystals from the classic French location of Chessy. The Azurite crystals have a very deep blue colour, with lighter drusy areas to the central parts of the crystals. Some of the Azurite crystals exhibit 'saw-tooth' appearance curving to the termination. The underside of the specimen shows the typical clay matrix on which the Azurite has grown. A very attractive Azurite from Chessy, a location famed for such specimens.
