A specimen of Azurite probably from the late 1970s, from the Tynagh Mine, Co. Galway, Ireland. A large cavity measuring 5cm by 2cm is beautifully lined with botyoidal crystallized deep royal blue Azurite, having great lustre. Azurite is also seen on many other areas of the Goethite/Baryte matrix. A characteristic specimen from a location that is no longer available to collectors.
