An attractive arrangement of deep lustrous rich blue Azurite crystals from Touissit, Morocco. Crystals of Azurite show a stepped back parallel form, with an extensive development of a hopper-like habit on the longest faces. Azurite crystals measure to 3.9cm with acute sloping terminations. There is some replacement by Malachite to some edge crystals of Azurite. The matrix is a light green mixture of finely inter grown undefined minerals.
