Deep royal blue crystals of Azurite mostly cover the display face of the specimen from the Cobar mining area in Australia. Crystals of Azurite are bladed to blocky in habit measuring to around 7mm. Associated with minor green Malachite, on a granular white Quartz matrix cemented by a hard white 'Kaolinite', and veined by Azurite with Malachite.
