A fine Azurite with Arsentsumebite from Tsumeb Mine, the type locality for Arsentsumebite. The Azurite forms an amphitheatre like specimen, the well developed crystals displaying prismatic to blocky habit, many in parallel growth. On the rear of the specimen the Azurites take on a more acicular habit. They are lustrous with a deep blue colour, and some neon blue internal reflections. The light green Arsentsumebite has three main areas of growth on the specimen. The dominant main area is like a hollow tube measuring to 5.3cm long composed of a myriad of intergrown micro-crystals, with a branch to one side. The specimen is purported to have come from the 6th Level. A pleasing specimen from the Tsumeb Mine.
