Azurite With Wulfenite

ID: CC3000

A fascinating specimen of Azurite and Wulfenite from the Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. The specimen displays deep lustrous blue crystals of Azurite measuring to 1.1cm, showing a serrated crystal edge to them. Light tan coloured tabular crystals of Wulfenite are richly inter grown on the display face of the specimens. The crystals of Wulfenite have serrated edges, and also show the tabular crystal faces are over grown by a forest of micro-pyramids. The specimen is over grown by a yellow-green undefined mineral on a cellular matrix.
