A very pleasing specimen of Baryte from the famous Les Malines Mine, France. The Baryte forms two almost completely merged balls of 'cockscomb' habit. The Baryte is snow white with a high sparking luster. The balls of Baryte aesthetically sit centrally on an undulating plate-like matrix of drusy Sphalerite, with Pyrite and Quartz, creating a great colour contrast.
