A rich crystal specimen of Baryte from the strata bound ore body in the Les Malines District of France. The intergrown rhombic Baryte crystals are very well formed, thick and sharply tabular measuring to 1.5cm on edge. The crystals are lustrous and colourless gemmy to translucent plae brown. A great Baryte specimen from a deposit worked at various times from the Roman era through to the 1990s.
