A first class specimen of Baryte crystals from the Maine Mine, Burgundy, France. The specimen is a vertical cluster of sharply formed thick bladed crystals, to 9cm height and 4cm width, with very pronounced chisel-tip terminations. The Barytes are highly lustrous on all the faces, with great translucent yellow colour. The crystals have at least three growth phases apparent as phantoms within them. A very fine Baryte from France.
