A fantastic cluster of Baryte crystals from the Maine Mine, Burgundy, France. The specimen is a vertical group of sharply formed, slightly diverging, prismatic crystals. The sub-parallel crystals have very pronounced chisel-tip terminations, individually measuring to nearly 8cm high and 1.5cm wide. The Barytes are highly lustrous on all the faces, with great translucent yellow colour. The crystals have at least two growth phases apparent as a phantom within them. A fine Baryte specimen from France.
