A richly adorned crystal specimen of Baryte from the Paleokamariza Mines (a great name !) probably from Mine No18, Lavrion, Greece. The mines here are some of the few to have produced crystal specimens of Baryte in the area. The Baryte crystals on this specimen measure to 0.8cm on edge with typical tabular form, in clusters of slightly divergent habit. A very pleasing lustrous colouration of translucent creamy to tinted pink edged crystals greatly enhances the appearance of the specimen. A fine relatively large specimen from the mines.
