Lots of intergrown crystals of Baryte adorn this specimen from the Crowgarth Mine, Cumbria, England. The sharply developed gemmy lustrous crystals of Baryte measuring to 1.8cm display excellent prismatic to bladed form, and are well terminated. A pleasing tint of green is apparent to the Baryte crystals, enhanced by a pinkish colouration to many of the crystals. Specimens of Baryte are seldom available from this mine, this is a particularly good specimen.
