A consummate English classic Blue Baryte from the Iron mining area of Frizington. The specimen displays excellent characteristic tabular chisel form crystals measuring to 5.5cm. Having delicate fine light blue colour with lustrous faces and translucent to near gemmy. A creamy hacked-like incised matrix of Dolomite with red-brown Hematite hosts the classic crystals of Baryte. An excellent Baryte from the United Kingdom.
