A fine classic Baryte from the Iron mining area of Frizington, west Cumbria, England. The 7.1cm long crystal of Baryte sites pleasingly across the reddish Dolomite matrix. The sharply formed Baryte with excellent terminations., with a slightly green hue with several gemmy areas. Parallel growth of two smaller crystal can be seen below the major Baryte. A great specimen of Baryte from the mining area.
