An exquisite specimen of lustrous Baryte from the Meikle Mine, Nevada, USA. The specimen we have from the location displays an aesthetic tabular/bladed Baryte crystal that sits pleasingly across the apex of the matrix, measuring to 5.2cm. Displaying sloping double termination, and with a wonderful gemmy light golden yellow colour. There are a number of other Baryte crystals in association with similar attributes. The matrix is an intergrown cluster of translucent white lenticular crystals of Calcite, here and there frosted with tiny Baryte crystals.
