The Florence mine now closed, only occasionally produced Baryte specimens of note from the Iron Orebody. The specimen is characteristic of the Baryte habit that did come from the mine. Displays a well formed array of bladed crystals in a slightly divergent habit, with translucent white colour. A light dusting of Hematite preferentially covers one side of the specimen.
