A fine well formed single crystal of Baryte from the Dalmellington Mine, Frizington, Cumbria. The crystal of Baryte measures to 7.2cm tall, it is lustrous with colour zone banding parallel to the length of the crystal. Colour zoning is from colourless to translucent-opaque slightly orange yellow. A specimen from the Pearl Freeman collection, a once avid mineral collector.
