An aborescent-stalactitic crystal form is a feature of the specimen of Baryte from the Cavnic mining area in Romania. Excellent gemmy blue crystals of tabular Baryte crystals have developed over a previous creamy white Baryte with a  stalactitic habit. A neat and pleasing specimen of Baryte from the area.
