A fine Cumberland Baryte from the Frizington Mine, Frizington, Cumbria. Several crystals of Baryte display excellent bladed habit many with sharply formed terminations, crystals measuring to 4.8cm tall. Having pastel shades of green, and characteristic internal zoning. Crystals of Baryte have formed on a matrix of creamy to reddish druse of Dolomite crystals. A specimen from the David Green collection.
