Barytocalcite

ID: CC3269

A fine crystal specimen of Barytocalcite from the seldom seen location of the Ayle Burn Vein, Northumberland. The sharply developed bladed crystals of Barytocalcite measuring to nearly 1cm, show the wedge-like termination to advantage. Crystals are seen concentrated over an area of 4cm by 4cm with great lustre, and are creamy to colourless at the terminations.
