A splendidly rich dome shaped specimen of Barytocalcite from the Second Sun Vein, Nentsberry Haggs Mine, Cumbria. The specimen was collected in the 1960's before coming into the Lindsay Greenbank collection. Well developed upright bladed crystals of Barytocalcite completely cover the display faces of the specimen. The colour of the Barytocalcite is creamy white on a matrix of altered grey-brown Limestone. A great specimen from the mine.
