A pleasing specimen from probably Colombias most well known Emerald mine. The specimen from the Muzo Mine shows a single prismatic crystal of Emerald measuring to 1.9cm, with a natural fracture, with a gemmy to translucent emerald green colour. On a conglomerate matrix of white Calcite and Quartz, with minor Pyrite set in a black-grey matrix.
