A neat contrast of emeralds with Pyrite from the Chivor Mine, Colombia. Stout lustrous prismatic crystals of Emerald measuring to 3cm form a V-like display and are striated faces parallel to length of the crystals, with a rich green colour from gemmy to translucent. Emerald crystal are between complex metallic light yellow crystals of Pyrite measuring to 0.8cm, on white Calcite, and black shale rock.
