Well developed crystals of Bismuthinite measuring to an impressive 3.5cm have formed over the display face of the Chalcopyrite crystal matrix, from the Fowey Consols Mine, Tywardreath, Cornwall. Crystals of Bismuthinite are striated parallel to their length with a metallic dark grey colour, on metallic yellow Chalcopyrite. The specimen comes with an old Nérée Boubée of Paris label dating around the later half of the 19th century.
