A super crystal specimen of Boracite from the Boulby Mine, Loftus, England, a location regarded as producing some of the best specimens in the world. Pseudocubic crystals of Boracite are largely gemmy pastel blue, measuring to 2mm. Richly forming crystal ridges, and covering large areas of the specimen. The Boracite also forms as inter-grown spheres measuring to 0.6cm diameter. Here and there are dotted orange flaky micro-crystals of Hilgardite all on a matrix of tan coloured Boracite. A brilliant sparkling crystal specimen from the mine.
