Botryoidal Sphalerite

ID: CC4366

A rare specimen of botryoidal Sphalerite from the St. Agnes mining area, Cornwall. The Sphalerite has a mid-luster with a grey-brown colour and shows banding on the specimen edges. There are probably only three or four mines in Cornwall that gave up specimens of this rare variety of Sphalerite.
