The Quartz matrix has an incredibly rich and thick coverage of fibrous Boulangerite coating both sides of the specimen, with a beautiful silky lustre. Gemmy prismatic Quartz crystals to 9mm length poke through the dense coverage adding a pleasing detail to the specimen. Most Boulangerite specimens from this area are quite compact and massive - therefore this could be regarded as a rare and fine example with its thick 'head' of Boulangerite 'hairs'.
