Bright metallic grey crystals of classic Bournonite (Cogwheel Ore) from the consummate old time location for the species, at the Herodsfoot Mine, Cornwall, England. The Bournonite forms an intergrown nest of characteristic crystal habit. Overgrown by translucent sparkling crystals of Quartz pseudomorph after tabular Baryte crystals, measuring to 1.5cm. A pleasing specimen from the mine.
