Bromian Chlorargyrite (Embolite)

£1,600   €1,812  $2,087 approx.

This specimen is priced in pounds sterling, all other prices are approximate.

ID: CC2894

A skeletal vuggy specimen created almost entirely of Bromian Chloraryrite, (0ld Embolite), a Silver Halide. The Embolite crystals are greenish-yellow with excellent lustre and range in size and form, and are well crystallised. The larger crystals measure to a 1 mm in size. Most of the crystals have a pale chocolate brown coating on them, but the crystal shape is still visible. Accompanied by an old Franz label and the Freiberg Mining Academy Mineral Dealership, post 1918. This is a very nice display Embolite from Broken Hill.
