Cadmium Enriched Smithsonite

ID: CC4297

Well known amongst British collectors is the small Sheshodonnell lead mine, that produced some of the best yellow Smithsonite in Ireland. The specimen we have displays a rich druse of crystallized yellow Smithsonite, on a matrix of mixed translucent Smithsonite and purple-white Fluorite. Specimens from the mine are now considered uncommon from this location.
