Cafarsite

ID: CC868
A dark sub-metallic red-brown Cafarsite crystal 2.5cm wide on a feldspathoid matrix. The crystal is a well formed modified cube with lustrous prism faces. The Cafarsite is associated with a darker mineral which is possibly Cervandonite -Ce. This is a very good example of Cafarsite, relatively large, lustrous, and well crystallised compared to most that you see.
